"Our favorite part was the central location to all we did in the area. Keeping in mind that this is NM, and there is a little distance to fun, it added mountain beauty to our fun getaway weekend! It was a lovely spot, slightlyout of Cloudcroft. So pretty and great plenty of amenities!"

"Enjoyable place to stay. There was a tall, chain link fence for our dogs to enjoy the outdoors. Not a far drive at all into Cloudcroft. I would suggest taking your own pods for the Keurig, if you want that versus regular pot coffee. "

"My husband and I wanted a quick winter getaway in the mountains (with our two dogs) - Cloudcroft was perfect for this and so was the little cabin, Grizzly’s Getaway. Grizzly’s Getaway has rustic cabin charm and all the amenities one might need for a comfortable stay.The owners, Paola and Damian, are EXCEPTIONAL HOSTS. We will definitely be contacting them in the future for another stay in Beautiful Cloudcroft! "

"The house was so cozy! We were greeted by 20+ elk upon pulling in the driveway. So cool! We only stayed 2 nights so it was a quick little get away. I couldnt get the shower in the master bath to heat up, but other than that, everything was great! Thank you!"

The owners were very easy to communicate with and quick to respond to any questions that we had. We loved the property and hope to be back again soon for another stay. "

"The inside is spectacular. Everything is super nice and thoughtfully designed. Heater and heated blankets kept us nice and cozy. Outside deck was cool too. View was great. The experience was really cool but I don't think I would return because 1. It wasn't as remote as I anticipated, the whole side of the mountain is totally developed. It just wasn't the vibe I was looking for. 2. The proximity of the other tents again takes away from the secluded vibe. 3. The damage deposit is so high.Thanks...
