"Good communication in advance of arrival, though more clarity on parking may have helped. Unit next to ours had a very loud barking dog which woke us up on a Sunday at 7am unfortunately… and triggered our dog to bark. The walls are quite thin for noise to travel in/out. Aside from that, it was a really great studio with all one would need! It is on a working farm but whilst that means potential activity outside the door, it also means great green-space and farm animals to enjoy as well!!"

"Cottage in owners georgous grounds with local pub at the end of the road (although we didn't go). Met by deers in the fields prancing.. and lovely sunsets.Warm and cosy with everything you would expect. Thought the air fryer was a good extra. Water flow off and on but Sandy gave us the heads up. Location suited us... between Romsey, Salisbury and Winchester. Would definitely stay again. "

"Great shepherd hut in quiet location right next to the New Forest. It has everything you need and very stylish. Lovely and warm when the heating was on. Big car park and nice garden to look out to. We loved it and would stay again."

"We had a lovely weekend staying in the Shepherd’s Retreat. It was very well equipped to a high standard and immaculately clean. The property is in a very peaceful spot and with excellent access to The New Forest, Salisbury, Bournemouth and the coast. Heather and Denis are excellent hosts and very welcoming and clearly thought had gone into ensuring their properties are to a high standard to guarantee the best possible stay for their guests. "This is a wonderful property with comfortable rooms and plenty of varied living spaces - including a hot tub & games room. We were 10 adults ranging from 24 to 94 and all of us enjoyed our stay - there was something for everyone. The welcome basket & flowers were a nice touch."

"Very sweet little cottage, ingeniously fitted with everything we needed for a short stay. It was a pleasure to meet the owner and look round the grounds, seeing the other cottages. The only drawback with the Old Post Office is its nearness to the main road: in hot weather one might want to open the windows for air - but then the noise also."
