The food I was served was incredible and worth almost as much as I paid for the hotel room. The onsen at the hotel is better than most of the public ones in town. "Wonderful first time experience in Kinosakionsen! This hotel is in the perfect location. It's a very short walk from the train station and all of the 7 public onsens. Also a short walk to the Kinosaki Ropeway. There are 2 private onsens in the hotel where couples/families can soak together. Every floor has a light to indicate if available. Service is impeccable and easy to communicate in English with the staff. Food is plentiful! Breakfast and Dinner were included as well as an afternoon tea service. All you care to eat! Fair warning, don't go crazy at the steam bar! Save some stomach for the rice dish. Truly delicious!"

"Wonderful stay. Friendly, professional and accommodating staff from the moment we drove up to the property to when we depart. The staff even helped to sort out our luggage delivery to the next accommodation in another city. Our hostess Matsuri was sweet, polite and gracious. The property itself is beautiful and exudes an old-world charm, and our room with in-room onsen is such a treat. The meals we had were also delicious and thoughtfully prepared and presented. We had a lovely time at Nishimuraya Honkan and hope to return again."
