"We love our stay in the Sunset Suite at Blue Heron Retreat. The setting over the lake is beautiful. We enjoyed the hot tub and the kayaks, and maybe most of all just watching the sunrise over the lake. Everything was very clean and we loved the extra touches like fresh flowers and lavender. We came to the area to Ike the Dragon Trail and are thrilled to have found such a great place to stay. We will be back!"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Leonard Building, Apt 305. The place was very clean and conveniently located to Heritage Landing and other attractions we were interested in seeing during our stay. The building is very secure, which was also nice. We all felt the unit could use ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room, as well as exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Aside from that no compliants. We loved the trendy decor."

"When I checked in - luckily I had a friend with me … Door 5 is in the shadows - and the only room in the building with a step in front of the door… it is the same color as the flooring and wall and I tripped on it and fell … never saw it and landed hard with a bag in my hand. If I’d have really gotten cut or severely injured - I’d have laid there a few days until someone came up there That needs some yellow tape or something to mark it so it can be seen!! Very clean with all the amenities (and more) needed for a couple of nights. We appreciated the quick walk down to the marina, and drinking coffee on the Inn grounds the next morning. "We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was fully stocked with everything we could possibly want. The view is stunning and worth the hike up the mountain. The walkway was a bit slippery on a frosty morning, but we used the provided "trax" (spiked covers for shoes) and they worked great. The host was having a fridge issue during our stay, but they made sure we had a working fridge and offered clear communications about when we could expect a repair person to arrive."
