"Nice hotel in a historic castle, with an excellent restaurant."

"The hotel property is quite unique set in a former council building especially the bar and restaurant which are located in the former council chambers. The most striking feature of the hotel however is the excellent service provided by all of the fantastic staff. The location is unbeatable allowing you to easily explore the city centre and the river walk. Many excellent restaurants and coffee shops are within 500 yards and the city attractions are very walkable from the hotel. "

"Upon arrival at the hotel we were greeted with a warm attitude, the member of staff on desk on arrival was very friendly with my 4 year old daughter whom is very talkative and loves meeting new people. Our room was to a good standard - clean, spacious and had everything we needed including an en-suite bathroom, a TV, toiletries and a fan which kept us cool during the night. We had breakfast in the morning which was up to a good standard and the member of staff on the desk at breakfast time was incredibly friendly. Overall I’d give the property a 9 out of 10. There was only one issue which was the location, it wasn’t the most ideal for our plans for the next day but the overall experience was excellent and I would return again providing that the location is convenient for our plans. "

"Great overnight stop with the most friendly and helpful of staff. Facilities excellent and being able to bring our dog was so good. The rooms are lovely and the breakfast options were just right for us. Will definitely stay again. The price was also the best value for money you could ask for. Could not recommend more."

"What an amazing hotel, very convenient. The room was super clean and comfortable, overlooking Keel sq. Breakfast was hearty, a great selection including freshly brewed coffee and juices. The staff on check-in and in restaurant were all very pleasant. I will definitely make this my go to hotel again when im back in the UK."
