A bit on expensive side for the location but considering the event going on, UEFA championship it was a very good choice we made. The area around was not the greatest one. If you want to go shopping, go walk for 10 mins. and then you'll reach Limbecker Platz. There's REWE (supermarket) and you can grab some German sweets for gifts. :)"
