"Stayed in the Ribble Suite it was very nice apart from the Bathroom was very cold only having a small electric heated towel rail you have to leave the bathroom door open with the heat full on in the Suite for a hour or so to warm up the bathroom. our biggest gripe was that the Suite was warm all afternoon but when we returned to dress for dinner at 7pm the hotel heating had turned itself off and the room was uncomfortable chilly reported it to night manager who Forbes the hotel heating boiler...

"This hotel had beem recommend to us and it did not disappoint. The room (crows nest) was superb, the facilities were spot on and the menu was excellent (festive theme) great value and food was mega tasty. Cant fault our stay at all"

"What a beautiful location. When my wife and i woke up in the morning, we watched the sunrise over the Dales. The same for breakfast as the dining room has ceiling high windows overlooking the cows and sheep grazing in the fields. The rooms are nice, clean, and quiet, and the beds are comfy. We quickly became friends with some of the other guests. The bottom line is that we had a wonderful time there. We highly recommend Throstle Nest Farm. "

"From the moment we arrived Debbie made us feel so welcome, the room was spotless, the bed was ready comfy and the room was lovely and warm. In the morning when we went for breakfast Debbie greeted us with a good morning and a smile. Breakfast was well cooked, plentiful and set us up for the day. "Lovely period property and rooms. Close to cafes and pubs. Staff helpful. Only down side, no food on site other than self service cereal type breakfast, however lots of lovely cafes nearby. "

"Such a bad check in. Took 15-20 minutes to get me into the room, which was terrible. Pictures on adverts did not represent the place. Shared bathroom with no toilet seat. Just such a bad experience. I prepaid for 2 nights and paid for another hotel second night so I didn’t have to stay. "
