"Wow...... I went on my annual girlie holiday. Alone with my niece and Isla her 7 year old daughter. Because of the Kerfuffle this year, our holiday abroad was cancelled so we decided on a staycation instead. We decided on a Yurt holiday for 3 days, I then came across Lincoln Yurts it looked perfect for what we wanted. My god we were not disappointed it is fabulous. "A lovely stay in a cute old stable. Lovely provision of cereal, bread, butter, milk and coffee (including some for the cafetière for those like me who don’t drink instant). The fridge has a small freezer at the top which is great. The living room is double height and very comfy with underfloor heating, the bedroom is upstairs on the mezzanine. The owners have really thought about the things you need when staying away in self-catered accommodation and it shows! 10/10"

"We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Hillcrest cottage. It is exactly as shown in the listing. We loved the hot tub and sitting around the fire outside on the terrace watching the stars! Although it seems quite isolated it is less than half an hour’s stroll from Dunston and a few minutes further to Metheringham. The cottage and the views were stunning and we would highly recommend!"

"The pictures don't do it justice, the house is absolutely beautiful and so spacious. Ideal location. The hosts thought of EVERYTHING, the house is so well equipped and has literally everything you could possibly need. Hosts were fabulous and so responsive and even included a welcome basket with wine, treats and bread and milk. We couldn't believe how cheap it was for the location, amenities and house in general. We will 100% be back"

Good location, wonderful staff, adequate price
"I stayed for the whole week, and everything was alright. The staff was just wonderful, smiling and always ready to help. The location is very good, although the frequent road next to the hotel is a bit noisy. I would suggest serving some vegetables, ham and cheese for breakfast. The English breakfast is good, but I would prefer not to have the same breakfast each day."
