"We used this a our main base for touring the Netherlands. It was near Amsterdam, slept 7 easily, roomy enough for us all. It was tough to speak with anyone with the accomodation before we got there as to how each room was stocked. Lots of dishes and cutlery. Nice and close to Volendam to walk into town and stroll. If we go back would use again. "

"What a lovely apartment! It was very well equipped and decorated. Loved it. It was a home from home. The host was friendly and took the time to explain how appliances and lights operated. There was a very useful binder with information on the area, shopping and restaurants. The apartment was within walking distance of the city center and Alkmaar was worth exploring. "

"Rundherum ein gelungener Aufenthalt. Zentral gelegene Unterkunft und ein sehr ansprechendes Ambiente. Lediglich die eingeschränkte Stehhöhe im Schlafzimmer und die typisch holländische steile Treppe ins Obergeschoss zum Schlafzimmer waren gewöhnungsbedürftig und sind für Senioren suboptimal."

It needs a great deal of maintenance to modernise and make safe all aspects of it. It was not clean… the toilet was disgusting and the shower room not as clean as we would have hoped.
