"The apartment is functional, great shower, clean (other than cobwebs on the windows), fridge, dishwasher, clothes washer, etc. However, it was incredibly hot and the windows are wired so that they can only open about 4 cm. There was a fan in the bedroom but it was extremely noisy. I am guessing they’ve had trouble with people leaving the windows open in the past and so have secured them in this way, but then they need to get AC as this was extremely uncomfortable. "We had several issues: Patio door to balcony (we were on third floor) had no key so could not make it safe for children. Windows had no limiters on them so they swung right out and you could have topped out. Windows could not be pulled shut easily because the handle had nothing to pull onto hence the seal was not tight and rendered the double glazing useless and we could hear all the noise from the restaurants we overlooked below plus the fight that broke out at 2 pm. All the problems listed...

"Lovely lady helpfully directed me to the correct address since my sat-nav didn’t. Very helpfully and warm personality. Room was really clean, fresh towels and a comfy big bed. Everything was well put together, no complaints. Would stay there again if I were in the area, wished I had another night there. "

"I've been in the road for 30 years since coming out of the forces. I can honestly say I've spent time in cleaner and more comfortable fox holes. Access from 2, arrived at three to be left waiting until 5 before being given the door codes. Floor, worktops and all touchpoints sticky. Absolutely Horrid. Emails, voicemails and phones calls completely ignored. Do not confuse MK Short Say with Short Stay MK as i did. You will regret it!"

"Very good apartment, great communication with the host, felt safe and would use again. Picking the key up meant calling at a shop around the corner but that worked well. Flat was clean, well set up and parking was free and safe and well organised within the same building. Very close to shops and the city etc. "

"The standard one bed room apartment was advertised as executive but it was just a standard apartment, nothing executive about it. However the hosts were great and always happy to help. Location os fantastic very close to cmk and sainsburys which was very handy "

"Please be aware this is a shared kitchen. The property is on a working farm which is off the main road and nice and quiet. Difficult to find the entrance. Look out for the small sign for lower field farm go down a long farm track and you get to the farm. The property could do with some TLC but over all ok. "

"The Bear is in a fantastic and convenient location for both Woodstock village and Blenheim Palace. All the Staff we encountered were excellent and helpful (as always! Especially the reception staff and Breakfast staff. We had an outside room in the area next to the car park which are larger and more modern than some of the rooms in the main hotel (on this stay the room was faultless room). The breakfast was excellent and a great example for tourists of the ‘Traditional English Breakfast!’ I still maintain that this hotel needs some money spending on it and some of the furniture and TVs in certain rooms definitely needs a refresh! "

Lovely stay

"Lovely night away, room was on the small side, but still lovely. Would have been nice to have a table and couple Of chairs right by the big window. Also the corner of the bathroom door and skirting by the shower was peeling due to wetness from shower. The breakfast was absolutely incredible and the cocktails in bar, even though pricey at £14.50 are amazing. "
