"The property is lovely, and the owner very resposive when light switch disintigrated. It was a shame the dishwasher program didnt work, the fire alarm fell from the ceiling and the tv was too old to take any form of digital equipment, nor did the dvd function work. Otherwise the cottage is lovely in a pretty spot The foul weather made tv more important I guess. It shortened our stay by half. "This is such a gorgeous, peaceful place for a person on a car tour! It's perfect for those wishing to get off the beaten track, or have a base from which to plan day adventures to the ocean, the mountains, the lochs, etc. Blarghour Farm itself has a beautiful waterfall, a kayak launch, a glorious view of the Loch Awe, and lovely spring flowers. Catriona was an angel of a host, full of good suggestions for ferries, dining, and outings.The Barn is an architecturally designed space with every thing...

"We really enjoyed the accommodation, it was clean and well equipped. Brilliant location our only real gripe was there was no facility to recycle anything, everything went into one bin. Just a small thing but in such a nice location we felt it was important. "

"You are staying on a boat on land however it was modernised with flushing toilets and hot water and heating. Hosts Lynette and Angus were lovely and could not do enough for us, loved our welcome treats and nice touches throughout the boat. Perfect for a couple with medium size dog. "The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice!
