This one bedrm riverfront home is considered one of the finest rentals in Helen.
Quiet location yet very close to town - 1-2 blocks! Clean - like new condition. Approximately 30 feet from the river - unobstructed and gorgeous view! Level backyard to the river. (See photos - all photos are current)
It has a large and beautiful two-sided gas fireplace (Liv. rm and bedrm - seasonal). The condo’s location is in town for the ease of enjoying Helen's many venues and year round activities. It has a well lit covered parking area. The condo building has 4 units - 2 lower and 2 upper. This home is on the lower level just above the covered parking. There is one easy flight of stairs to the condo (While the building does have an elevator, we cannot guarantee its functioning status. While we would love to host you if an elevator is a necessity we encourage you to continue your search rather than experience any inconvenience). There is a front balcony (small/Juliet) just off the dining room. It provides a street view and a view of a few business establishments. (River is in the backyard) From the balcony guests can "people watch", view most parades, occasional collector cars, horse drawn carriage tours and a mountain view/sunset.
A gorgeous and tranquil view of the river and backyard can be enjoyed from the covered rear deck, bedroom and living room. Passing summer tubers (generally May-Sept.) do add some activity and entertainment. The backyard is level terrain. The HOA has a resident/guest use beach access area for wading or swimming and approx. 500 feet of river frontage for river play, fishing and relaxing beside. Bring your lawn chair and relax beside the river or set your chair right in the river! Undeveloped and peaceful Unicoi State Park is the mountainside across the river from the condo.
