"Fabulous stay at the Westbourne. Friendly greeting from Sue and check in was quick. Room was excellent and had everything we needed. Location is perfect as you are no more than a 10 minute walk to the lake, restaurants, bars, and shopping, but hotel is on a quiet street in a good location. Breakfast in the morning was served by Andre and was really good. Would absolutely stay here again and would definitely recommend. "

"Not staffed, you receive a code for entry on day of arrival, all worked great. The room was clean, decorated nicely, had a huge bathroom with large shower and free toiletries. Internet was fast and reliable. It was very quiet. The heart chocolates on the pillows (it was Valentines the day after our stay) were a cute touch."

"Lovely stay in the dog friendly deluxe room. Very comfortable, clean and well decorated room. The room has it's own parking space and is only about 10 minutes walk down to the centre of Bowness. Hosts are very friendly but leave you to enjoy the room in peace with the proviso that they are only a message away should you need anything. They are happy to provide any information on the local area required. They even provide dog bed, bowls and towel though we had brought our own. We will definitely...
