Safe clean place
The included breakfast is somewhat anemic but can be upgraded to a more satisfactory one for $3.50 extra. Unlimited filtered bottled drinking water is offered at no charge. Although WiFi is available, it is not free and costs $1 per hour (the money goes directly to the Internet provider, not to the facility). The room itself was clean and safe - they kept two sets of doors locked at all times, plus there is the lock on the room itself. I would say, considering the overall situation in the country, this place is OK. Everyone I dealt with was very pleasant and very responsible. Taxi from the airport costs $20 or $25 max. If you want someone to specifically go wait for you at the airport and then drive you, it's $35, which may be a good idea if you don't have any local money on arrival. For lunch or dinner, I would recommend the very good and reasonably priced restaurant La Juliana, only about 7 short blocks or a 10 minute walk away, where most dishes are about $3. If you just want a burger for about $2, try Candy Hamburguesas right next door to La Juliana. The double-decker tourist bus also happens to have a stop a couple of minutes from the apartment, $10 unlimited rides for one day, I think they go by about every 1/2 hour.
