Had a great stay at casa yaque. It’s a good location where you can walk to the square or capital. The staff were awesome and super friendly. Only real downfall is being on the 4th floor and not having any water in the showers (hot or cold) except for one day for an hour

I loved the location inside old Havana! It was super close to several restaurants and the AC worked very well. The owners were very kind and helpful about recommendations.

The area was very dirty, the entrance door like a prison, no sign of the name. At the end was at the 4th floor without lift to take up 4 luggages. The worst of all was a man, he said was the owner, came in about 10am, he opened the main with extra key, without knocking or calling and he said by the lobby. As we were sleeping the boys in the other room and me and my wife just wake up , had a shower and trying to be dressed. We've heart some people talking in the lobby as I was naked. My wife just went to check and he sitting by the lobby. Also when we arrive the previous day, the boys try to have a shower, the water wasn't running and trying the handle of the tap braked. The other day when the owner came he blamed us for this and wanted to him 30 euro for the damage. I said we were not going to pay as is natural damage as was a bit old they didn't manage have a shower. After that , although we been told that it was ok to stay till 18.30 as we had a lat flight, after that he said we have check out at 12.00. As I mentioned above it was a terrible attitude,actually the worst ever and I wouldn't recoment it,and the money is changed was far to much for that place.

Wonderful place, absolutely perfectly clean. The room was well equiped, and staff does everything to make you feel welcomed, comfortable and happy. We had room 1 and there were 2 balconies, a fridge, table and 2 chairs, efficient and silent airconditioning , very comfortable beds, very clean, towels. Hot water. Hairdryer. Good wifi. Breakfast home prepared are good, fresh fruits, pancakes, sandwichs with ham and cheese, coffee and wonderful fruit juice. Very reliable people, we had a pick up at the airport on time, and a taxi to go back. Absolutely safe area close to restaurants and places to visit. We highly recommande Casa Yaque and we would like to give a special and warm THANK YOU TO SORAIDA, wonderful lady who made everything she could to make us feel at home. 😍

The designation B&B was inaccurate and misleading. At every B&B, it is understood that breakfast is included in the daily rate! However, the manager whose name was Andres was most unpleasant upon our departure, and demanded extra payment for the breakfasts and blocked us from leaving!!! The caretaker, Soraida, was lovely and friendly, with zero English. She served our breakfasts, which consisted of a plate of tasteless guava, papaya, and pineapple - the sliced bananas were the only nice fruit. There was a ham and cheese bun which had no flavor. Pancake was served hot and was nice. We also got a glass of guava juice and acceptable coffee.

Mi amigo y yo nos alojaremos en Casa Yaque 4 noches en enero y lo pasemos muy bien. La casa está situada en el centro de la zona la Habana Vieja y es muy conveniente para visitar muchos lugares turísticos como Parque Cetral, Calle Obispo, EL Capiorio et cetra. Eso es gran ventaja para turistas. Nuestras habitacione estaban en la cuarta planta y no había acensor, eso nos costaba un poco, porque somos mayores, pero aunque por todo esto esta cas fue magnífica. Lo más estupendo fue las personas. El dueño Andrés y la mujer que le ayudaba fueron muy muy simpáticos y amables. Nos ayudaron mucho y no los olvidaré.

Buen hospedaje
Me gustó el lugar, cerca de muchos lugares de interés y fue muy fácil caminar y moverme por la Habana,la señora que trabaja en el lugar fue muy linda. No me gustó que cada vez que pedí ayuda al encargado no fue diligente y sólo me hizo perder el tiempo, pues luego me tocó conseguir yo misma y con gente que iba conociendo los transportes para Viñales y Trinidad.
