"We felt the restaurant was not consistent. Some days it was good some days it was questionable. Need work on their pizzas too much tomato sauce. The pork tenderlines we're like pork chops... and dry."

"Property was very lovely. Staff were helpful friendly and accommodating. Bikes, kayaks etc were great quality. Arrived on a Sunday, very slow and quiet with a small staff. But things picked up by Tuesday/wednesday and full staff arrived. Spa was top notch. Restaurant was good but pricey. "

"The site is a great little oasis in the middle of Placencia. Well-kept old style bungalows with modern amenities, set in a beautiful shaded garden area. Easy walk to beach, dock and restaurants. Staff and on-site owner very helpful and friendly. "

"Mariposa is located on the beautiful beach.The resort is very small and creates very cozy and private environment The resort is well maintained very close to local airport. They have little restaurant but we had rental car and explored local Placencia restaurants. The staff is very friendly. We booked treehouse but they have construction on the property grounds. The manager offered for us beachfront room that was quiet and far away from the construction site . We really appreciated the upgrade. We stayed in this resort for a second time and never been disappointed. Thank you all the staff and manger for awesome vocation. We will come back."

"Upon arrival, we found the property to be even more picturesque and beautiful than the photos showed! Also, the rooms were much bigger than we imagined and the kitchen had everything needed even for a larger grouo our size. The house was tastefully decorated and comfortable for a very relaxing and enjoyable week. Our family enjoyed the pool which was private and inviting. We also loved using the kayaks and paddleboards which to us was like icing on a cake! We would defintely highly recommend this property to anyone going to Belize and we would defintely stay here again the next time we travel to Belize!!
