"Property as excellent - very clean, spacious and good sized rear garden plus beautiful views of surrounding countryside. Only one negative - the bathroom shower - was very average and not easy to adjust for anyone under 5 feet two. Everything else was spot-on."

"Purcombe Farmhouse is a gem. It provides comfortable and very well equipped accommodation, suitable for all ages - our family group were aged 66 down to 1yr and we all had a wonderful week there. Lovely gardens to explore and the hot tub was a definite plus later at night! This property is so peaceful and with stunning views, yet only a 10 minute drive from Bridport"

"We had a lovely few days stay. Everything you need is in the kitchen, even as far as washing powder. The cottage is old so the stairs creak a bit but thats only to be expected. Beds comfortable as well as the sofas. It is a dog friendly cottage even supplying the dog bowls. The only thing we found is you have to drive to the beach to walk the dog as we didnt feel comfortable walking along the lanes."

"Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. "

"Most beautiful country home to stay in. Very cozy and warm. Hosts were very nice and we enjoyed our chats with them. It’s a working farm and my husband coming from the farm really enjoyed that. Our best stay here in Wales or Britain as we are here for 6 weeks in all. Very nice walks on the road and the villages were beautiful. Very quiet stay as well and the bed was excellent. "Perfect venue for a cosy week catching up with friends, we had been looking for somewhere large enough for all 10 of us to get together, play board games and have a film night! This was perfect! The dining table accomodated us all, as did the sofa! We also did all our own cooking and found the kitchen to be well equiped, (far more so than some professional kitchens weve used!) Will definitely be keeping this saved for future catch ups!!"

"We arranged a few nights to spend some time away with our 2 sons and their girlfriends. We had the small cottage and they shared the larger one. It was ideal, we could spend time together but not on top of each other. The cottages were very well equipped, especially as we took turns cooking for each other. The pool was great, it would have been better if we could have used it into the evening but we were asked not to use it after 7pm. Considering the youngsters are all in their twenties, they...

"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...
