"The Rose and Crown was a lovely timber framed building but with modern facilities. The room was large, warm and comfortable with a couple of easy chairs which were an added bonus. The shower was good and easy to use. The breakfast was well presented and good and the staff were all pleasant and created a relaxed atmosphere"

"Always a lovely stay at Belstead Brook; I’ve been coming for years. The food in the restaurant is fantastic, especially their Sunday roast. Beds are comfortable enough but it does depend on room type (I’ve stayed in all types) but I find the pillows quite hard. A good hotel if you’re in the area with friendly and obliging staff."
