"Old-fashioned cottage with modern updates, just a short walk from the beach. Quiet, friendly neighborhood. The hosts take good care of their guests! My favorite part was the view from the back deck, which looks out into a grassy marsh and small river, complete with several osprey checking out a nesting platform. Look forward to staying here again!"

"I love this place. Next time I wish I could have a better view. I went there before the new rooms were added. Every time I went there, I stayed in the main building right upstairs from the check-in facing the water with my husband and I absolutely loved it. I was actually married there in the old ballroom. I was put in a room that I faced the side of the building and parking lot. I like it there because you can have your meals there if you want they should put a microwave in the rooms. I grew up there on the shore when I was a kid so it is a very pretty place. I think it’s understaffed. I saw the same woman there almost 3 shifts in a row. I think she was a manager. She was delivering drinks, which I thought was crazy and then I saw her the next morning at breakfast time being the hostess, I said to her, don’t you ever get a day off she said thank you for noticing. She was a very pleasant, nice woman, but I think it’s understaffed. I stayed there during the wrong time of year. It was spring break. Children were running up and down the hallway, which was not appropriate And they were with a parent. That’s what really got me - back in the day when I was a parent of young children, I would never let my children run up and down the hallways but times are different now -not for the better!!!"

"Clean cottage, more spacious than it looks. Perfect fenced back yard for family pets. Quiet neighborhood and easy walk to beach. Stayed at this cottage for a month as our home needed some repairs. Extremely comfortable for my husband, miniature poodle and I. Hosts were very gracious and accommodating!! Would have stayed longer if available. "

"My family of 4 stayed here for two nights and we wish we would have stayed longer! The home is beautifully decorated and has tons of space available to renters. It would have been easy and comfortable to stay there for a week (or more!). Beautiful spot and easy to get around."
