"Stayed here a few times now. Great hotel with modern spacious rooms. Bar menu is limited and food is quite expensive but of very good quality. There isn't much around the hotel either, not without a short drive at least."

"Had a beautiful stay here and our room was lovely as the lovely lounge area,also lovely dining room. Breakfast was Fantastic and plentiful. Travelled from Australia and will let people know when back home about this beautiful place,owners were very kind and hospitable.... "It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The hosts were charming and attentive. It was fun to talk with them and the other guests, and the breakfast (made specially for each guest) was some of the best food I had while in the UK. The bathroom was pretty small, and the shower was one of those stand-alone ones that looks a bit like a box, but the bathroom and room were always very clean. The parking was a bit tight when every spot was full (I had a large rental car), but there was enough space for everyone. There was a cute bakery that is open in the mornings (and only takes cash) across the street as well as a post office and convenience store. The location isn't close to anything major, but it is nicely situated if you have a car and are hoping to travel to different places around Scotland. The wifi was great. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. In particular, I appreciated the wonderful hosts who you could tell truly cared about all their guests and who go out of their way to make everyone's stay enjoyable. "
