"We had the most fantastic 3 night stay in the Pheasant hut for my fiancés birthday. The little extra touches were massively appreciated and we'd absolutely recommend the BBQ hut. I was a little nervous staying in January but the huts were warm and cosy. Huge shout out to Sean who was the perfect host - Excellent communication, great local recommendations and went above and beyond to help us when we were snowed in on the morning of check out. "Beautiful lodge in a fantastic spot right on the east durham coastal path with fabulous views. The lodge was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need a real home from home. Lovely furniture on the decking to sit and eat, dolphin spot or just watch the world go by!"

"We had a great weekend staying in the Essex lodge. I found everything to be as described on the website and the hot tub was perfect. Some nice little touches with the sports equipment on the field and the walk in the woods is a hidden gem, well worth the effort. Overall a good area to visit with plenty to do."

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "What a gem! Spacious flat with huge comfy beds. The host has been so thoughtful to leave all sorts of things to help guests feel at home like books & games, toiletries, food and even coffee. Just off the town centre. We'll definitely be back!"

"Hotel is very nice. Room and customer areas are spotless. Room is comfortable, though you can hear the road noise quite a bit. Staff are very friendly and helped me with the projector in the conference room. Breakfast was excellent. Thank you "

"Great hotel, with very friendly staff. Room spacious and comfortable. Bathroom large, but only one hook in the bathroom, and not much area to put stuff on; if I’d been travelling with my wife, my bathroom clutter would’ve been consigned to the bedroom."
