"We picked this location based on the promise of being a short walk to the lake and I messaged the host asking if it was a good lake for swimming. We walked over to the public access and it was maybe 6 feet wide, weedy, in between private properties. We ended up driving to Wilson State Park about 20 mins away the 2 full days we were here, because the reason we'd chosen it was lake accessibility. "The cottage is great, the host is very friendly and responds to your needs right away. We went in the middle of winter so we weren't able to take advantage of all that was offered but would be looking into going back in the summer as we can see it it would be great to be right on our own beach. "
