"Recently renovated, large room with everything I needed."

"Everything was great with our stay except the 8am text asking me when “ I thought I would be checking out?” We travel quite often and I have never been asked that from a hotel. In this case checkout was at 11am which is fairly typical of most hotels. We didn’t even make downstairs for breakfast and you’re asking when I’m leaving? Very strange! It gave us the sense that our stay was being rushed. This practice definitely needs to be changed. "

"This was our second time at this property. This time we took our two boys. They loved it just as much as we did. The location is perfect for hiking during the day. And the house is perfect for enjoying each others' company in the evenings. The host has always been super helpful. My youngest son didnt want to leave and is making plans to return in the future."

"We enjoyed our stay in Canaan Valley! The kids enjoyed the pool, mini golf, game room, and the jacuzzi tub. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to enjoy the mountains."

"We stayed here for a weekend in March with our kids (5 & 8) and had a blast. It's a great spot with lots of land to explore. We found some really cool waterfalls behind the house in the woods. The snow season was over so we missed XC skiing but we definitely will be back. Close to Blackwater Falls park and the town of Davis. "
