"Beim Check in wurden wir erst einmal 20 Minuten vor verschlossener Tür stehen gelassen (es war Check in Zeitraum). Es gibt keine direkte Parkmöglichkeit am Chalet, was sehr nervig ist. Im Häuschen angekommen fiel sofort auf, dass die Fotos auf der Seite hier wohl viele Jahre zurück liegen. Es riecht im Inneren stark nach Feuchtigkeit und Schimmel. Besonders im Badezimmer und im Schlafzimmer (!) war es kaum zu ertragen. Schlafen konnte man nur mit offenen Fenstern. Durch die kaputten...

"The house is spacious, comfortable, well decorated and very well equipped. It has a large beautiful garden, ideal for children's games. We were made very welcome by the family. The area has a lot to offer, particularly beautiful picturesque Enkhuisen."

"I stayed here for 6 nights with my wife and we really enjoyed it. The town is very quiet but it's a short drive to cities like Leeuwarden and Harlingen for activities. There is a grocery store in the next town over so it's a quick drive or bike ride if you need to pick up anything. "We had a wonderful stay in Medenblik in this lovely holiday home on the Ijsselmeer. The house had everything we needed, including a lockable shed for bike storage, and the garden with decking directly on the waterway was the perfect place to return to after a busy day cycling. The area has lots to see and visit (as cyclists, we were spoilt for choice). We had a super week, and hope to return one day soon."
