"Check-in and check-out was very easy and clearly explained. The house was very clean and tidy, no musty smell at all. Glenda, the host, was very accommodating and quick to answer any and all questions thoroughly. The area is absolutely beautiful with gorgeous views of the river and sunset. Overall it was a lovely experience for our quick get away, highly recommend!"

"My brother and his wife came flew in from Texas for my daughter's high school graduation. My husband and I wanted to take them somewhere that was different and not the usual tourist spots in Va. Bch. and we all could relax and enjoy ourselves. The house looked just like the pictures and the property around the house and the river was just gorgeous. We enjoyed ourselves in enjoying the house and the scenery and we even did some fishing. My husband to our surprise caught a stingray. The house was supplied very well to having pots and pans and cooking utensils to coffee supplies. There were some spices that had been left behind from previous guest. We are looking forward to going back again and this time having my brother-law from Maryland meet us there. The owner was quick to answer his phone when we called him about the which dock was, we supposed to utilize. There's a convenience store close by as well as a Dollar General"

"We didn't wander much at property as we were doing theme park days but it was beautiful and as described."

"I really dont think that the pictures do this place justice because the house is much more charming in person. I think my favorite part were the beautiful fig trees framing the backyard. The house is gorgeous and the bathrooms are simply luxurious. The kitchen is well appointed and the dishwasher is so fancy that i couldn't figure out how to turn it on. You really don't need to bring anything but your clothes. My only suggestions would be an extra key for guests and to get rid of the old spices (some were hard). Either way, I would be happy to stay here again and again."

"This place is absolutely perfect for a family stay. The sunsets and views are fabulous. The porch is huge and is the perfect place to watch the sunset and feel the breeze off the water. The cottage is very spacious and extremely clean. If not having immediate access to the water isn’t a big deal to you then this is the perfect place. We had family staying in Whitestone so we drove over every morning and accessed the water there. We would definitely stay here again and are already planning to book next year!"
