"This was our second stay at this location. Our daughter got engaged the first visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. This time we met a cousin and his wife for a week of relax and recharge. The location is fantastic. The house is comfortable. We did have a couple intrusive neighbors this time but not too over the top. A couple items we noticed: very poorr lighting throughout the house, the master bed needs flipped At the very least, and the hedges in front have grown so much...

"Quiet, tons of room for lounging around if you’re stuck inside because of a cyclone like we were. Easy access to everywhere you want to go, it should get more than 5 stars it was perfect."

"Great communication throughout the process with the property owner. They were very responsive and pleasant. The property is ideal for multiple parties with a variety of rooms, and just amazing updates that were done. Also, views of the ocean. I will certainly stay here again if we go to Brookings again. "

"It has a "loving" lived-in feel. All the classy 2 closets, large bath, sky-lit design of the 2000s. It has a life to it, you can feel that people enjoyed this house, grandpa and grandma lived here when they were young. Now the family lives next door - I hope they don't mind me mentioning this because it made me feel safe knowing they were right next door in a place where there is no cell signal. There is a jacuzzi inside that I didn't use this time. Now a hut tub in the back would be...

"So glad we found this spot. It was perfect for our elopement in Stout Grove, as it was just a 5 minute drive down the road. The house had everything we needed to cook dinner, play some games together and just relax. The house was clean and welcoming when we arrived. Although we had no issues and didn’t need to contact the host. I believe there would be no issues if we had to. Check in/out was effortless and I would definitely rent again if we’re ever in the area again. "

"Came into town for a quick trip to hike a few spots in the redwoods. The home was perfect for us, easy to find, clean, and comfortable. Appreciate it being pet friendly, and the fenced in backyard was a plus. "

"It would have been more enjoyable if it was summer! Especially the hot tub in the backyard was great since the backyard is the part of redwood forest. We couldn't use it since it was cold. Clean and beautiful, but it feels smaller than the pictures posted. The bedroom on the rooftop is so cramp. The windows without shades in the bedroom bothered me. No shampoo provided. Overall great property!"

"Stayed with a group of friends, and this house was the perfect place to stay over the holiday weekend. "

"We had to scramble to find a place that allowed dogs at the last minute and this cute little bungalow was perfect! From the fresh cookies to the basket of doggie amenities, we felt right at home. Back deck and yard were wonderful. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Super comfortable, very clean, accommodating, private, relaxing, quiet and a short drive to the beach. Had everything you would need to cook small and large meals. Well stocked too. The game room and hot tub were so nice to enjoy!! Such a great place to stay!! Would stay here again !"

" Our stay at the Pelican Bay Lighthouse was the best vacation house by far! It was exactly as the pictures showed and had everything we needed!! The view from the loft couldn’t be beat!! "
