"It was a great get away weekend for us. The beach access was great, beautiful sunrise photos! 60% sand, 40% rocks. The house was perfect for us. Cozy, senior-pet and toddler friendly because it only had a few steps. Nothing fancy about the house, but that’s what we wanted. "The house can accommodate a large group easily. We could not have asked for better weather. The biggest disappointment was the area of Lake Huron. If you are looking to run and dive into Lake Huron this is not the place. The bottom here is all rocks that you cannot walk on. Thank goodness we brought with us paddle boards which are grand children rowed around on.Goose poop was everywhere on the property.Maybe time of year for them! Outside could use a good power washing. "Cute smallish place on outskirts of residential neighborhood. Clean and comfy livingroom/kitchen area for our group of 3 adults for 4 days. Nice backyard/deck. Lindsay very responsive to questions. House about 15 min walk to downtown. Bathroom small; could use updated shower, hooks or shelves for people's wet towels, clothes, etc."

"Nice cabin, great location in Port Austin, easily walkable to the beach, downtown shops, Farmer’s Market. Lots of things provided. Host was helpful and very responsive. Check in was the easiest I think I’ve experienced. Hot water on demand was nice! The cabin itself was a bit small for 5 adults and a baby, but it did work for our weekend. The futon is probably better for kids than an adult. The only area I couldn’t give 5 stars on was cleanliness. It could have been a bit cleaner. ...
