"We have stayed here before and will Do again. Although it’s a youth hostel - nobody feels unwelcome. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It is situate a very short walk from Charleroi central train and bus station. There are lifts to all floors and everybody is catered for here. "Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety.
