Lovely family space, terrible WiFi
We arrived to the villa at an ungodly hour after a delayed flight and almost couldn't get in because the door was so stiff but the security guard helped us (tip- pull the door towards you while turning the (key!)
The villa is huge and a great space for large family or group to spend time. We found the beds quite uncomfortable but the shutters and air conditioning helped to keep the house cool. It has all the amenities but unfortunately were somewhat plagued by ants! We had to keep all food in the fridge as it's the only place they couldn't get into! Maxi supermarket is about 1km walk and well stocked. Plenty of restaurants close by (although we avoided the Medina as the staff can be too pushy).
The pool is lovely and the water slide was a wonderful surprise for the children. The garden is beautiful with lots of flowers and plenty of shade throughout the day. It was lovely to hear all the birds singing in the bushes.
The only major downside to the villa was the absolutely awful WiFi. We were lucky if it connected for 5 minutes a day. We ended up buying local SIM card with 13GB data for around 30 TD which worked well.
Lastly the villa mostly disabled friendly as it has a ground floor bedroom and bathroom and a ramp to access at the front. However the town itself is NOT very accessible as none of the streets have dropped curbs. I was lucky to have a lightweight mobility scooter which we can lift up and down onto the pavements.
