"Great no-frills appartment - clean, spacious, in good condition and comfortable (low ceilings and a bit dark as the windows faced the woodland, but it couldn't be helped and it didn't spoil our stay). A pity about the damp smell in the beautiful old main building where the bar and restaurant are but all the staff were friendly, very helpful and the food was good. "I stayed here for 4 nights with my partner and a friend, and can honestly say it was perfect. The property manager Ian couldn't have done more to help. Even when we had problems with the appliances he was out within half an hour of us calling. On arrival we were supplied with tea and coffee making facilities as well as a housekeeping pack and vanity kits.
