"Vine Cottage is a large, spacious, property, ideal for our family group of seven adults. With two lounges, we never felt like we were tripping over each other. It's in a beautiful location situated in the vineyard itself. The kitchen/dining room is stunning, and made for family get togethers. However, the description in the listing needs to have more information. First of all, THERE IS NOT A MICROWAVE! It never entered our heads that there wouldn't be one at the property, but there wasn't....

"We stayed here for a big family birthday long weekend celebration. The house was immaculately finished and really well equipped. We spent a long time looking for somewhere that had a dining table big enough to seat 16+ people together and this was perfect. There are several living spaces for everyone to spread out as well as outside seating when the weather is nice. Lots of parking and beautiful surrounding countryside. Communication with Bridget was seamless. Highly recommend this property."

"Starting to need a little TLC. The hot tub lid is broken. There are missing dimmer switches and screws out of wardrobe door handles. In the games room the perspex glass on the side of the pool table was smashed and no ends on the queues. The dartboard wasnt fixed on the wall properly and not all the players work properly on the football table. Also had to rewire the karaoke plug. None of this ruined our stay as its a beautiful property with stunning views."

"The property is a beautiful old farmhouse which has been beautifully restored. Accommodation was well laid out and because of the host’s style and attention to detail felt very like ‘home from home’. All felt very relaxed and not ‘too perfect’ that you couldn’t relax and enjoy it. Great space for the children and a fabulous playroom which they all enjoyed using. "We really enjoyed Rushay - the house, Cottage and grounds are beautiful. Full use was made of the tennis court and we drove to Charmouth for an early morning swim each day. The beds are really comfy and the bathroom facilities are good. We did feel that the kitchen equipment needs updating a little - we just managed to cater for 20 between the two kitchens and using quite a few items brought from home. Altogether though, a really lovely time was he by all!"
