"Cosy, comfy cottage. A few cobwebs but nothing too bad. Electric radiators in all the rooms so heating wasn’t a problem. Me and my brother stayed as it was close to Mam Tor. The host was a character but pleasant enough and left us to it. He lives in the adjoining property so worth considering if you want total privacy. Overall, we enjoyed staying there."

"Super cute house in a quaint, hilly area! The host was very responsive and super nice. The hot tub was clean and warm and the house felt very comfortable in general, being well stocked with kitchen and cleaning supplies, games, towels, and bedding. I thought it was adorable and a cozy stay for a few days. I would definitely go back to explore the local area and hiking more. "

"Such a unique and awesome property steeped in history and character. Although the weather was horrendous, we stsyed in, played some board games that were available and made some meals and had some quality time together. The decor was amazing and well kept. Fully equipped kitchen with some luxury cutlery and the hosts left some essentials such as eggs, bread, milk, cereals and biscuits. Definitely worth the money. Will stay again one day I hope! "

"Very remote and drive very uneven at times. Approach to property on a very steep incline so it might not be for the immobile. Inside the property is lovely and the owners have thought of everything. The only issue we had was there was not enough heating in the living room/open plan kitchen with just two radiators. It is a converted barn with no insulation so it was too cold for us. There is thank goodness a log burner but there were no supplies so the next day we had to go out and buy...
