"An older home, but one that is clean, affordable and where the owner has tried to think of and put in place those items that will make it enjoyable and comfortable for your stay! Being able to walk a few blocks to restaurants, like our favorite Puddle Jumpers, and Wooton Park with its shoreline walk and state-of-the-art playground, made choosing this rental the right choice for us.(Missed there not being a visitor’s book, which is a good place to get good idea’s for restaurants and nearby...

"We enjoyed staying at the mermaid house. Cozy old cottage just big enough. Updated shower, adequate kitchen, comfortable beds. Could not figure out how to use the tvs. Close enough to walk downtown thru a safe pleasant neighborhood. Looking forward to going back later in the year. "

"Beautiful property"

"This 3 bedroom rental was clean and well located in a very quiet neighborhood. We were pleased with the gas powered golf cart that came with the rental. We did not use the plunge pool, instead opting to take the golf cart to the pool at the rec center only two blocks away. The screened in porch was great for eating meals. We used the washer and dryer in the garage to do a load of laundry. Baths were well stocked with towels and blowdryer in each bathroom. Kitchen has spices and cleaning items...

"Very nice 1 bedroom apt with dinette, kitchenette, full size fridge, and washer/dryer. Owners are very friendly, nice neighborhood with a park directly across the street."

"Our family really enjoyed the Royellou House for our stay in Mount Dora! Everything was very clean and James was so accommodating! We were able to walk to downtown Mt. Dora. Will hopefully be back next year."

"Arrived early just to park one car and then head into town with the other we were met by a very unfriendly cleaning lady yelling at us. When we could get into the property later that day we found the place ver nice and clean bathroom arrangement not as expected but was fine. 2nd bathroom was in a finished garage. Bedrooms comfortable. But road noise very loud all night long. "

"The home was very nice. We did not have access to the golf cart because there was no key available. I called the owner and he had no idea where the was placed by the rental company. We had already paid for the golf cart as part of the rental agreement. "

"As this was our first time at The Villages, we had no idea what to expect. Was not aware of all the different areas in the Villages and the distance between them! This home is in the oldest section, but close to Spanish Springs, the original square. The view in the back is quiet and you get your share of golfers, but they are not annoying. Quick golf cart trip to a very nearby pool but it is a family pool, not adult only. We had the private pool on the patio which was a great size, but we are...

"Booked at the last minute for a bass tournament. We had one little hiccup but nothing major and communication was on point. The neighbor felt super safe and was easy to get in and out. The only con for us was all the beds were very firm. None of us are firm bed people. Overall our stay was very very nice, quiet, convenient, and comfortable! "
