"The property was perfect for our family with an 8 and 10 year old. The kids slept on the lanai and were very comfortable. It really felt like you were out in nature. John was welcoming and the fresh bananas were great. We split our trip up with one week here and one week on the south shore and we’re very happy we did. "

"We were looking for a place to begin the Road to Hana. This location in Haiku was perfect. We were able to get an early start the next day to beat the crowds. We stayed here again on the way back after our stay in Hana. Very quiet neighborhood. Close to Paia town where there are little shops and great eateries: fish, flatbread, ice cream, shave ice, etc. I got here a couple minutes before check in at 4 but received no communication from the owner on how to check in. "We enjoyed our 3 days here. The location is great! Rooms are larger than they look from the photos. Great communication with the owner/manager. The kitchen is well equipped. Private yard and hot-tub… amazing! There is nothing to dislike. Maybe the folks staying in the unit above us could have been less noisy - the sound of their stomping around woke us up early each morning. But that is not really the fault of the owner and it didn’t bother us too much.Would definitely stay here again! Will...
