"The house is beautifully decorated, interesting, and comfortable. Location allowed us to meet family in Russellville for a “cousin lunch”. We loved the views, including bright skies, cloud banks, and a wonderful sunset, which represented the Arkansas weather we remember from childhood."

"I booked this cabin for a romantic Valentines weekend getaway and was not disappointed! The host was very responsive and even helped me out by putting a dozen roses on the table for my partner. The place was clean and we had no issues finding it. Fair warning, the steps going upstairs are a little steep and the bathroom is located downstairs, but overall the cabin is cute and cozy. The Highland cows were a great added bonus!"

"It was my first time and the host made it very easy and was very understanding as well. We loved the kayaking and the mountains that we visited "

"This is the second time we’ve stayed at Ratterman Ranch and it just gets better each time. Absolutely beautiful home and property. We had such a wonderful time floating the Buffalo and just spending time on this gorgeous property. Trudy is fantastic and always promptly replies. We plan to visit again this fall for a hike. Truly an amazing property."

"This 3 BR, 2Bath served our family well for our Thanksgiving visit to nearby family. I would suggest the host put a couple additional rolls of T-paper in each bathroom. Also a reading lamp in the bedrooms would be nice. Thanks"

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hosts were wonderful. They made fire outside the fire pit during our stay and set it up for us. The river backside of the cabin was amazing. Strongly recommend this place. "

"The housekeeper was so nice. Room was clean and comfortable. Only issue was the steps. Didn’t say anywhere it was upstairs and 1 of us is on oxygen. It was rough getting up the hill and the stairs. I should have asked I Will be sure and ask for ground floor next time. "

"We stayed here as part of an outdoors focused trip and it was a great location. Short drive into horseshoe canyon ranch and right off the main road to head up to Eureka or down to the larger mountains. We mostly slept and cooked and it served our geoup of 5 very well!"

"This was the best trip we have ever had to Clarksville! This house is wonderful , we loved our stay. Beverly is a great host and the breakfast was wonderful. We will definitely stay there again"

"My family and I absolutely loved our stay here! The house provided everything we needed for a relaxing break away from the city. Besides the adorable highland cows, our favorite part was the large fire pit. The house was large enough for our family of five spread out comfortably, and the proximity to hiking trails was spot on. Thank you for sharing your home with us!"

"Thank you for allowing us an amazing stay! Berties Nest was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.The views of the mountain were absolutely beautiful. We loved watching the sunrise over the trees in the morning along with a family of deer who visited occasionally. The peaceful tranquility of the Arkansas mountains is something my family enjoys every year and this place did not disappoint. Parthenon is where my grandfather was born and raised so to pass by the little old general store...
