"Very friendly staff. Rooms very clean, and housekeeping came round everyday. Beds were very comfy and the bed linen and towels were of a good quality. I ordered a full cooked breakfast at 8am everyday and it was cooked for me and was substantial. "

"Pros: Great location if you’re visiting / doing business in Ampthill. Great food and drinks downstairs. The staff were always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Cons: no on premise parking. Closest parking is a municipal lot…10 pounds for 24 hours. When I checked in my room was made up as 2 singles instead of a double as requested. Beds were a tad small & uncomfortable. "Pub is closed on Sunday evenings and Monday morning so only contact we had was to pick key up, so cannot really comment on service. Lodge was clean but looking a bit tired, but was fine for a one night stay. "
