"Firstly the owner couldn't find our booking. This would be fine, but he was just unhelpful in resolving this, and came across as rude and indifferent. He kept just saying "I haven't got any money from you" or "you should call the company you booked through" (like no you should). We kept asking for the Wi-Fi so we could try to resolve this and he just stood there, then took ages to get it. "Spent two nights, 3 days at this property recently while touring around at Pinnawela, Sigiriya, Dambulla and Minneriya. Great location to visit all those sites. Excellent service with a smile. "I spent four nights at the Lake Breeze during which time I was able to visit Polonnaruwa, Sigiriya, the cave temples in Dambulla and also a safai in the Minneriya National Park. Althought it's relatively easy to organise these visits independantly I decided to use transport provided by Lake Breeze. A little more expensive than sorting it all yourself but as I wasn't on a particularly tight budget I was happy with the arrangements. "

"This is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay. The rooms are excellent, the food wonderful, the staff incredibly accommodating and the natural habitat in which the Other Corner is situated forms perfect backdrop gor wildlife including a birds. The resident wildlife and naturalist Dhilip is a fount of knowledge and made the stay even better. The organic garden and lake are also a bonus. The Other Corner makes an excelllent base for touring the national parks, ancient cities and Sigiriya."
