"Before arriving I was in email contact with Joseph, the concierge whom answered every question, arranged a van from the hotel. During the trip our companion broke her wrist and was ambulance driven to the hospital where her and her husband sat in Limbo for 4 hours. I called Joseph whom explained while healthcare was good in Malta, the state run hospital was short handed and could be a full day disaster; instead he suggested a private hospital we switched to whom triaged, xrayed, diagnosed and cast her arm in 2hours total! Joseph made a bad situation so much better. Sunny and the breakfast staff were stellar as was the maids, grounds keepers and Amy in reception whom we purchased a very fair priced upgrade for the room. We have traveled all over the world and this property was perhaps the best we had ever been. It wasn’t the fancy stone, spacious rooms, beautiful pools though they were certainly present; it was the people who made the difference. "Loved Malta stay at Grand Hotel Excelsior. The moment we walked in we were greeted by friendly staff and welcome drink. Raj Kumar was very friendly and helpful from front desk. He guided us on taking the Gozo day trip on our own. Excellent customer service by Raj and all others at the hotel. Reading some negative reviews on the hotel I was bit hesitant on booking, but the hotel exceeded our expectations. Hotel is walkable to the main center of Valleta. Rooms were spacious with daily housekeeping. We enjoyed our stay three days stay with Excelsior. Breakfast was good with ample choices. We would certainly stay here on our next Malta trip. Highly recommend it. "

"Upon arrival we were upgraded to a sea view room without asking. The room was very spacious with a huge sun terrace, a main room with queen size bed and lounge and a second bedroom with a king size bed and second bathroom. The showers were outstanding powerful and easily adjusted (still miss my shower now) We had bed and breakfast at breakfast there was plenty to choose all being freshly cooked in front of you, with a large selection of fruit and pastries also. Not many good places in the local are to eat to be honest but getting a taxi was literally instantaneous and was very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again"

"This is the third time 2024 that I enjoy staying at the Windsor Hotel in the heart of Sliema, great location close to the sea, restaurant, supermarket and transport, I thank the manager Trever for his services and always welcoming me, topman, as well as his staff Mr. Asvin, honest man. I forgot my cell phone at the seating earea at the reception and handed me my phone when I returned to the hotel as well as Ms. Silvia ( hopefully spelling correct ) the wonderful social girl who offers all the help I need, a responsive and positive girl. There is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel which is great for a special breakfast. I am really very pleased with my stay at the hotel and I feel active during my holiday I can't wait to go back. I definitely recommend this hotel. In fact, the manager Mr. Trever and his team making the Windsor hotel more shiny and lively and positive feeling for me as a customer. Thank you Mr Trever for everything 👍 "
