Lifts and door locks were fine, the staff were pleasant, and the room was cleaned every couple of days. It was very quiet on my stay, and I only saw a couple of other guests. Didn't get chance to try out the pools as it was a bit too cold. Location is good, and it's only a 2-3 minute walk to the bus stop which you can use to travel to the airport, Valletta, St. Julian's etc. A bargain for less...
