"Booked to meet a friend at short notice. The staff were charming and very friendly. The room was extremely clean warm and comfortable. I think we will be making a habit of staying at the Jamaica Inn as it’s equal distance between Great Torrington and Falmouth where we each live and it enables us to meet up more often with our very busy working schedules. "I can't say enough good things about this property, the staff that work there and the lodge that we stayed in by the side of the lake. The Lodge is quite simply exceptional. The build and fit out and furniture, the comfort of the bed, the bifold doors at the front and front view is incomparable. They have thought of everything inside the Lodge and made it such a beautiful place to stay. We didn't want to leave."

"We had an excellent stay here. Beautiful property with plenty of space for a group of 8 of us. Including children between the ages of 1 and 5 years old. We made use of the swimming facilities on site. Mary is a lovely host. Who answered all of our questions promptly . I would not hesistate to stay here again "

"We stayed for new year and have a great time the only thing I would say it when we arrived the lodge was cold and a little damp would have been nice to come into some warmth. Once we left heaters on for a while it warmed up. Pool was great, good in the pub was delicious all round we had a great time "
