"The picture advertised was not what was offered. The cleanliness was shocking, stains on duvets, towels, bed sheets and pillows - think bad and disgusting and you aren’t even close. Had 3 nights booked, left on day one. Poor health and safety with cables trailing across floors, screws in the carpet and a lighter found under a bed (I was with 4 kids, shocking). Now. "We spent 2 nights at the Edgecumb Arms for a family reunion. The room was superb, with great views over the Tamar. It was very well appointed. The English breakfast was delicious and copious and the staff was extremely attentive and welcoming. Bonus point - we were able to able to bring our dog. Amazing walks in the Edgecumb park which is one minute away or alongside the river Tamara. This was our second stay and will happily stay again in the future. "

"Apartment, as described, in a stunning location. Spotlessly clean and easy check in . Nice selection of restaurants and bars on site with friendly and professional staff. Only issue was that extensive building work was taking place outside the apartment and noise started around 7.30 in the morning. The property is in a stunning building, a lovely area of the harbour and has been well renovated and looked after. "

"Great location on The Hoe and fantastic to be able to park right outside. The studio is pleasant enough but feels soulless. There was no rug on the floor and it seems spartan. I moved the sofa a little which helped. Bathroom tiny but manageable. They expect you to take your own rubbish out around the corner and do your washing up. Makes me think I am reliant on the previous guests’ rinsing of cups. Bed linen and towels were good quality. Leaving tea and coffee and fresh milk in the fridge...
