"Gaia is across the river from Porto; a short ride to downtown but away from the throngs of tourists. The beach and beach restaurants are a five minute walk from the house. Joaquim was a wonderful host and the accommodations felt like a five star hotel. we would definitely stay here again."

"Large property with extensive gardens, providing everything you could want on holiday. Content to sit by the window and watch the boats going up and down the river, very relaxing. Lovely pool, although sadly unable to use it because of the weather. Tiago was very helpful and responded immediately to any queries. Would thoroughly recommend!"

"This is a lovely rustic property with a beautiful outdoor area including plenty of seating areas and an adequate sized pool. A car is needed. "What a wonderful stay we had! We had a most amazing week in this newly built house, where all our stresses melted away. The house is as described, comfortable furniture (the double bed was so comfortable, we slept very well!) and we had everything we needed. The outside area was fabulous: the pool, the gardens, the views were wonderful. Natividade and her husband were great hosts, very amenable and kind.
