"The house was perfect for a group of friends. Gorgeous, well appointed kitchen, comfortable bedrooms and excellent showers. The location is amazing, right next to the mountain (which was excellent for running and hiking) and overlooking the sea, we couldn’t have imagined "

"Good place to stay for visiting Western Sicily. The pool area is beautiful and has a stunning view. As there were only 3 of us staying, this place gave us lots of space and the separate room and bathroom was lovely for our adult daughter to have her own private space. Good location for travel to lovely cove beaches and about an hour from San Vito Capo beach and not far from Palermo. Scopello is a must visit for evening dining in a beautiful setting. "This house was beautiful and the pool was fantastic but the road to the house was very dangerous and guests definitely need a four wheel drive to get to the house. The house was a bit spooky at nights. Top floor was very noisy and everything shook when you moved and lots of noise from rats in the walls, and birds and shutters moving... so a bit scary for my taste. However Paolo was super nice and took very good care of us."

"A lovely place to spend our second week in Sicily, close enough to the town but also secluded. Proximal to some fantastic places like the Zingaro Reserve, Scopello, Salt Marshes on the West Coast and Erich. "Villa Marinella is perfectly located to explore this part of Sicily: San Vito Lo Capo, Erice, Segesta, La Tonnara, Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello++. There are fantastic beaches close by for swimming and snorkelling. The villa itself is perfect for relaxing by the pool or in the seating area during the heat of the day or for taking "sun-downers" The hosts Manuela and Marco were attentive and gave us good tips on places to visit and made great suggestions for restaurants. Can strongly recommend"

"The villa is very clean and comfortable and the hosts keep in touch so that you feel very secure throughout the booking process. It's situated off the main road amongst a beautiful backdrop of mountains and sea. It's airy and cool even in high temperatures. In terms of the local area - there are some wonderful beaches all around but you will need a car as it is off a main road and the local eateries are a short car drive away."

"Das Haus liegt in einer wenig besiedelten schönen Landschaft, nur durch einen Feldweg vom Meer getrennt. Wunderschöner Blick von der Terrasse. Sehr günstig als Stützpunkt für Ausflüge nach Palermo, Castellammare, Trapani, Segesta und das Naturschutz-Wandergebiet Zingaro. We had several issues with it when we arrived but they were quickly sorted out by Claudia and her father who were both endlessly helpful. " We stayed in villa Raffa with our family whilst we toured Sicily in mid August 2024. From the moment we checked in our host Giovanni made us feel very welcome and went through all logistics and attractions nearby. The villa itself was beautiful and in a great location only a few minutes drive from the beach. The pool was the highlight of our kid’s break especially it being salt water and without chlorine was a massive bonus for the little ones. The hot tub was not hot but the coldness of it...

"Very spacious and tidy. Locating took a minute, but once we arrived properly was very convenient to town. Water pump was a bit rowdy at times. Our family did enjoy our stay."

"You will find that the host is wonderful and very accommodating. He takes great care in maintaining his property and the grounds. The garden surrounding the house are like an oasis. The property around the house had many seating areas wonderful for entertaining. Although you do need a car to get around, we would highly recommend this property."

"Mama Silvia is a lovely, if somewhat quirky, villa in the village of Cornino near Custonaci. The Villa sits at the back of a group of Villas at the north end of the village about 400 mtrs from the beach and about 1km from the village centre. Although there are other villas between it and the sea you get a superb view of the sea and surrounding area , the view from the Veranda and Pool area is definitely a highlight of this villa as the views are stunning. "As a family, we had a great time at this villa. You will definitely need a car to travel around the island - but ensure that your rental isn’t too large as many roads in Sicily are narrow! Izzi was a great host and made us feel very welcome. The pool and outdoor area was beautiful and very private. The inside of the villa was well furnished.
