"Letizia on reception was excellent as was Salvatore in the restaurant both delivering an outstanding customer experience, the hotel though sprawling is excellent lots of lifts and a few stairs to navigate but outstanding Thanks we will be back"

"What a joke. They advertise all these wonderful amenities and when we arrived there was absolutely nothing available. No spa, no beach, no tennis, no laundry facilities, no hair salon. We would never have stayed here if we had know. When we complained they offered us a free drink! I have complained through the hotel and the refuse to respond and tried to get a refund from Expedia with no luck. Don't go to this hotel if you are expecting lots to do.....there is nothing!"

"Bright and modern hotel with excellent gated parking and helpful, friendly staff. Breakfast is also good - we loved the yogurts and selection of seeds / fried fruits etc. Its 45 minutes walk from the centre of Matera (there are also local buses, or the hotel can call you a taxi) - It’s an easy and well lit walk, just follow Google maps. We were happy to walk and not be concerned about parking (which is a real headache in the centre of Matera)"

"Resort is incredibly beautiful. Most if the staff were very friendly. However the keycard I had to purchase for 30e did not work at restaurant and bar. And the property is very large. I was directed back to the check in twice which was annoying the second time. And they don’t accept cash or visa. Just the key card. I had no choice but to order the buffet- a la carte was no available. Aside from this I enjoyed my short 1 night stay. Ps no one answers the phone, tv remote doesn’t work and neither...

"The Good: The room exceeded our expectations, offering all the essentials for a comfortable stay. It was clean, cozy, and the shower worked perfectly. We especially enjoyed the balcony, which provided a lovely spot to relax in the evenings. The host was exceptionally friendly, even going the extra mile by picking us up from the bus station. "The resort is aimed at families with young children. Thus the restaurant menu is child focused and its super busy. The room was not sound proof as stated Enjoyed the pool with hundreds of others."

"Stayed there for one night and cannot recommend this hotel more. Clean new hotel, with outdoor pool and loads of parking. Staff was very helpful and helped us to book a taxi to Matera historic centre. Everything was on time and punctual. And I can’t forget to mention exceptional breakfast with great selection of food of all varieties and exceptional coffee brought straight to our table. "

"Lovely hotel. Approaching on arrival it has a very nice clean look, so straight away we were happy with our choice, and definitely, I would agree on a 4* Hotel. I have stayed in many areas of Italy, and this one comes close to a small handful of specific good hotels on the Amalfi coast. What I didn’t agree with, is the young staff are very loud with each other. "

"Furnishings in the room were dated, paint peeling in the bathroom. Other ratings showed 10/10, I disagree."

"What a terrific hotel! Everyone was warm and welcoming and they upgraded us to a magnificent suite…so roomy, clean and quiet. Breakfast was lovely with continental offerings plus eggs done your way. Freshly baked croissants, buns, with breads available for toasting. We walked to everything and the place was magical at night."

Excellent representation of Tricarico

"VRBO owner Filomena Benevento's title should be the "ambassador" of historical city Tricarico! Filomena was gracious for having a late evening dinner with local goodies in the fridge due to our late arrival, to taking us on a tour of her city. Once she discovered we were wine producers from California on a research trip of Nebbiolo, Sangiovese and Aglianico in the Basilicata wine region, she arranged the meeting of local Cantina owners to view their vineyards and very historic cantinas. Our trip to Tricarico was a success compliments of Filomena and her knowledge of the area as well as her acquaintances. The 2-bedroom spacious accommodations were perfectly centered to view the historical city of Tricarico while enjoying to modernization of WIFI, parking, churches and nearby stores and restaurants. We look forward to returning to this hidden gem of a city and with Filomena's guidance and grace."
