Our room was very clean and comfortable. We saw so much wildlife on the hotel grounds: sloths, monkeys, frogs, etc. Staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The only disappointments were that the pool area bar was closed and the breakfast buffet was terrible. Selection was very limited, not replenished, when empty, and food was cold. "

"Overall Villa Lapas Jungle Resort was a good place to stay. We had 2 rooms with breakfast, but did not pay for the all inclusive stay because we are vegetarian and don’t drink alcohol. Positives: 1. Front reception staff, restaurant, and housekeeping are all very nice. 2. The setting is beautiful and well designed facilities. 3. The playground was great for our grandson. This was a huge plus. 4. When termites invaded our room the staff helped clean it and gave us a different room nearby. 5....
