"This spot was perfect for our family, it was exactly as advertised and in a beautiful location . We especially enjoyed the hot tub after skiing. There are also great hiking trails to enjoy . We look forward to returning next year! "

"Overall, my household of five loved our stay at La Bonita. The place was clean and had plenty of light coming in through the many windows, gorgeous in the winter and I’m sure in other seasons too! The beds were comfortable, all kitchen appliances and the dryer worked well. We loved the communal hot tub, though were disappointed that the electric sauna didn’t get hot enough to melt the ice on the floor, and the wood fired was a non-starter because we were expected to heat it ourselves for a half hour reservation slot. Some things were missing: basic spices (no salt!), hand soap in one of the bathrooms, trash bags beyond the one in the bucket, sufficient dishwasher detergent. Aside from that, a fabulous getaway. "

"Comfortable chalet with lots of amenities. Very clean with comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Enjoyed eating at the local Steak house and Le Calvados. Also went ice skating on a short trail in nearby Sainte Catherine de la Jacques. "

"This is my go to place when I’m travelling between provinces. Always friendly, and although it’s older motel itl has everything I need. Fridge, microwave, desk, great wifi coffeemaker. Super location just off HW 20"

"The place was very clean with excellent service. Breakfast starts at 7 a.m., which was slightly inconvenient for me as I began work at 7:30 a.m. The provided toiletries were limited but sufficient for a business trip. Overall, a good choice for business travelers."

"We stay in a few of the chalets in the same community, this one stands out as one of the best, kitchen is well stocked, location is very convenient, and the owner provided two child beds that’s foldable but comfortable. The gas fireplace produce very good heat, good for very cold weather in Quebec City during winter. Highly recommended! "

"We are frequent VRBO customers. The location was perfect for our purpose, and the home was peaceful with lovely surroundings and large sun-filled rooms. However, it appears to be owned by a company, with no homey touches, and poor management practices. Upon our arrival, there were a couple of issues that needed addressing. For example, the fireplace was not working, the welcome/instruction book was only provided in French and we understood and we understood “important” so we called the Concierge number provided, but no one spoke English and they hung up on us twice. We reached out via “message host” - we received auto-replies pomising to resolve, however, NO help was provided. We used the couch pullout and the carpet needed to be moved, the floors were filthy TV stand, so, we spent the first-hour cleaning and vacuuming. We left the carpet rolled up hopefully a proper cleaning will take place (photos and video were taken to give to the company for their files). Also,the couch bed looks well worn.NOTE: NO shampoo/body wash in showers and NO coffee - bring your own as stores are not convenient if late arrival, like our group. Improve communication, and update the property description indicating NO shampoo, body wash, and coffee are provided so be sure to BRING YOUR OWN (stores are not convenient especially if you arrive late), so, if these slight inconveniences were fixed, we would have no issue recommending this property."
