I arrived at the arranged time and entered the building to find an empty stairway, closed doors and a state of renovation inside and outside. Nobody appeared to be on site, except surveillance cameras. Nobody responded when I called a greeting. I sat in the stairway and waited until a painter connected me with someone who guided me over a plastic covered and freshly painted hallway cluttered...

"This aparthotel ticks all the boxes you'd need for a comfortable stay. The beds are superb, the room is spotlessly clean, the kitchen and bathroom are good sizes and the location is excellent for the U Bahn. The room is nicely furnished and the WiFi is absolutely outstanding. We had speeds of around 250mb which is far quicker than anything I've seen in a hotel at home.
