"Always excellent! After a five hour drive we are always met with a friendly smile from the receptionist, quite often Caitlin, which automatically makes us feel welcome and lifts us from that journey. Everything is clean and comfortable and the dining experience is excellent too. All staff are friendly and cheerful making it an even more enjoyable experience. Thank you everyone we will back soon "

"Dated room with peeling wallpaper, lukewarm water, and small uncomfortable bed. Certainly not worth £90. Dinner was shocking, and can only be described as a congealed bowl of slob. Meals were returned to the kitchen uneaten, but the £26 were not refunded. Breakfast was ok, but served on a dirty table with last night's drink stains on it. The only saving grace were the friendly and welcoming staff."

"Its a delightful tavern. Plenty of room on the car park and onto a traditional, friendly bar where my hosts booked me in quickly and with a great intro to how everything worked. I had room 2, in a purpose built outbuilding and I was really pleased with the first impression. Everything worked as it should and there were lots of extras not normally given in this type of accommodation. "We had a very spacious, clean, comfortable room. Excellent location. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. "

"The hotel didn't seem to be sure of our booking when we arrived. After that, the check in was swift. The room was grubby as was the bathroom. The duvet cover and the pillowcases were marked and clearly very old indeed. It was quiet and the location is great for visitors to Brigg. The price of the room was low and I suppose this was a case of ''getting what you paid for''"

"Great communication throughout. Immaculate property. Bedrooms lovely all with own bathroom. Plenty of xommunal areas. Dining room perfect for our buffet, the oldies loved chilling in the large comfortable living area. The pool table was agreat hig, and tbe large well equipped kitchen becane our bar area. Wonderful stay, we will be back!"

Very friendly staff

"Staying here as the reviews looked good and it’s near the hospital where my partner’s dad is very poorly. The staff can’t do enough for us, they are so accommodating and friendly. We’ve actually just extended our stay for another evening. The hotel itself is beautiful too and the room is large and confortable and clean. Thank you staff! You’re brilliant! "
