"We stayed at the Homestead while celebrating our annual girls trip. We all met in KC and all but one of us still lives here. We were overwhelmingly pleased with our stay. The bedroom situation was ideal. The beds were very comfortable. The rest of the house was very comfortable for our whole group. The kitchen was extremely well stocked. We have a tradition of cooking a meal together and we had every thing we needed for our 3 course meal. The location was walking distance for picking up things...

"House was clean and cute. Ants were everywhere downstairs. Wi-fi never worked and TV didn't work. I tried to message thru app, but was told to reference the same incorrect information again. We were mostly gone from the house during the day, but these were very disappointing things when traveling with a friend and our three kids. "

"You can tell the owners/managers put a lot of effort into this house! We couldn’t stop complimenting everything we saw in each room. Every room was decorated so well and was so cozy. We used the “fireplace” which made it even cozier. The ONLY flaw the property had was the neighbors overgrown weeds(?) hanging over the fence that is along the driveway. We’ve got a few new scratches from the greenery because we didn’t want to park on the street. "

"We were in town to attend the chiefs game. The house was an easy drive to and from the stadium. We had an early Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. Kitchen was a little short on pans to bake in but we made do. There were five of us and there was plenty of room to sleep and hang out. "

"Very clean, bed was very comfortable. Plenty of room for my K-9s. Enough dishes for a small family more people would need additional place settings. I would recommend a knife sharpener as well. Overall this place meet my needs and really comfortable."

"The property, the historic neighborhood, the facilities, the museums, gardens, conservation center, etc. were perfect for our short family holiday. The kitchen at the home was designed well, and was stocked with everything that we needed to make a couple of fancy meals for everyone. Each bedroom had an attached bath, and the rooms were tastefully redone in this older (likely more than 100 years) home. The host was super quick with questions and we had a wonderful time! Muktha"

"The living room and sunroom furniture were the most comfortable of any rental home I've stayed in. The dining room table and chairs at normal height made it easy to stay at the table and socialize. The table lamps were fun and functional. The kitchen was equipped to fix most meals. The house had an iron and ironing board!
