"Very clean and comfortable. Even though it was just my husband and I staying there we had some folks drop in the celebrate my fathers 90th birthday and it was very accommodating. "This dog friendly 2BR cottage is right on crystal clear Tripp Lake, with a large screened in porch/family room. It is small but very well appointed and maintained. The weekend we were there it was very quiet, and we had the beach to ourselves. Enjoyed kayaking, hiking nearby, and hearing the loons daily. Owners and manager were very thoughtful and responsive. Highly recommend!"

"Overall cute house and it’s great it’s dog friendly. I expected dog hairs etc but found human hairs in bathroom and dirty towel hanging. Husband found floss stick on ground too. They offered to come clean it for us which was really nice, and we didn’t feel we needed. Bed and couches really comfy. Shower loud noise. Great they have laundry. Overall good stay but very much like a rustic cabin and probably needs a different cleaner"

"We spent a week on Sheep Island in July 2024. We loved it. The accommodations were beautiful, the kitchen well enough equipped, the beds comfortable, the lake clean and the view amazing. We had 2.5 days of rain so were glad for the games and puzzles available. I think it would have been nice to have a clothesline for the swimming towels to dry. "We have been renting on Long Lake for many years and were so happy that we found this cottage for our family this year. The cottage was better than advertised. All of the accommodations you could possibly need. The location on the lake is also amazing! We spent endless hours on the great dock and using the swim raft. The sunsets across the lake were also incredible! We hope to return again next year!"

Plenty of open area for talking, playing, eating etc. and a great location for making the most of the Maine lakes region. "Overall we had a great stay at this house. We got to check in early which was great. The fireplace is so cozy and the main room is an awesome place to hangout. If we had one thing that could have been better, the upstairs bedrooms need new mattresses. Ours sunk down in the middle and needed to be replaced. My brother in-law said theirs needed replacing too. Otherwise it was great! "
